The end of Internet Explorer's life has arrived

Why should this even concern us, if Microsoft provides us with the Edge browser for free - exactly as it has provided Explorer until now?

The importance of the Explorer browser lies in the fact that there are still systems that depend on it - that is, systems that work only inside the Explorer browser, and will not work in Chrome, in Edge, or in other modern, advanced browsers.

So what do you do?

In businesses that need to keep using the Internet Explorer browser - for whatever reason, whether the software house no longer updates the software, or the machine the software works with cannot be replaced, and so on - you can enable "IE mode" inside the Edge browser and hope that everything keeps working as it did.

Illustrated guide:

To open a site in IE mode inside the Edge browser, you first need to allow it in the browser's settings:

  1. Click ... (the three dots at the edge of the Edge browser)
  2. Click "Settings"
  3. Click "Default browser"
  4. In the box labeled "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode", choose the "Allow" option
